Yes a bit, i've renamed alot of files with better titles, for example:
swim-sites.com/clubs/us/fl2.html
has become,
swim-sites.com/clubs/usa/floridagoldcoast.html
This has two effects;
- The spiders recrawl it (or crawl it for the first time)
- The words "florida" "goldcoast" boosts the pages chance of appearing as a high up search result (as it appears more relevent to the spider).
As far as I know it is advisable to avoid complicated titles and directory systems such as /267/468yg7.html
