If you want to trade as anything other than your name you will need a registered business name. You can get one from the CRO (
Companies Registration Office)
Once you have the RBN you can then apply for a .ie domain, however if the domain name you want is not similar to the RBN you will need to provide documentation / proof of your connection to it
