Thanks Michele. Obviously I want to pursue this on principal but I'm wondering will I be able to recoup the legal costs if I'm successful? I'd probably need to ask the solicitor but if I can't - well then effectively there's no point in me going through with it as I can't afford to pay legal costs just to have the site taken down. Is copyright law so lax that those being violated have to pay to protect themselves? Kind of extortion, isn't it? |
