Well when you factor in all the extras ...

1 Graphic Designer working on it for 2 - 3 days
(assuming they are giving options ... holding meetings on it ... discussing it with other members of the team) (I'd hope for the 6 k though they are getting more of a corporate identity)

Review processes ...

Legal crap ... making sure that style logo hasn't been used before by anyone and so on ..

6k while a lot ... suddenly starts to become less and less

Unfortunately I'm more of a have a play with a logo than in the I'll definitely be able to come up with something amazing area of things. And as I said ... some nice type and some nice design elements put together work for me most of the time. (in my mind I'm hearing ken / peter cringing ) .. (Not to mention my clients aren't really willing to spend any more on logos but they would like something kinda cool for their sites.)
