Hi Sean, I like the site, I think it's got potential, The logo is fine, I would change the S at the start it looks like an after thought, just put a normal s there to match the rest and you'll be fine.....the logo is the least of your worries at this stage.... I had a look around the site but did not register, why beacuse I would be no better off using smarket than ebay, You both offer payment through paypal (who I hate and can't wait to leave once I start generating enough business) You both take comission on the sale price, ebay is a rip but unless your generating enough traffic and business for sellers I can't see an incentive for them to list there products on smarket.. Mabye until you generate enough content for your site you should make it free for sellers to list, without them you may as well give up....but don't give up, keep plugging away... A lot of sellers are very unhappy with ebay and somebody is going to be next Pierre Omidyar you've just got to make sure it's you, get the Irish Side of things up and running like clockwork, then go global... Take my advice on the free listings and no commsions until your a bit more established, as an ex ebay power seller your going to have to prove to me smarket is a viable option, once you do that i'd be more than willing to pay fees... best of luck, keep the head up, persistance will get you everwhere |
