I think it must be very difficult to organize a good design over the internet, without having contact with the designer. The interesting aspect of design is that it is the result of ideas sparking off one another, with several people having an input. Much of the bland and often very conservative work on the Internet is a result of people playing things safe and looking to commercial gain over creativity. India has some wonderful web designers, but the time spent explaining what one needs would probably be better spent with a local designer who can revise the work quickly, when needed. |
