I know that the music is your product but I don't like the media player playing automatically on each page load. It's quite annoying having to stop the media player when I'm browsing the site. It also defaults back to the first song each time on each load. Yea that is kind of annoying alright - must do something with that - might look into getting another music player for it from somewhere so that you can choose from a playlist and not have it auto load, although i think you can do that with the current one
When you say theres a mixture in styles between traditional and comic design I understand what you mean - do you think changing the header to something more "comicy" would solve that problem - like creating a logo, and putting it into a rounder corner plain white header?
