I recently spoke to someone who has been very successful at spamming. He blasts emails advertising pharmaceutical drugs for a 3rd party person and started making so much money he quit his full time job.

I was surprised that people would actually buy from spam mails but he explained the click through rate was very high.

Only thing is that he knows he can land in a lot of trouble and is now paranoid about what he is doing.
