To put that into perspective, my blog became active late July 2006.

How many spam comments have you nuked during your blog's lifetime? And do you keep track..?

Akismet has blocked 54,962 spam comments BUT a lot of spam doesn't even get as far as that, as I'm using Bad Behavior as well

1,603 for Ireland SEO Marketing but my other blogs are higher. I don't really keep count on them as I easily get angered at spam.

I am just noticing its rather stupid of me using a live link to my blog when its already in my sig...ah well.

I'm feeling all inadequate now 301 via akismet, and 180 in the last 7 days with Bad Behaviour

Go to "Options" in your wp-admin/ and there should be a bad behaviour section there. It only keeps stats for the last 7 days.
