Thread: Word Press API key

If I install Word Press through my hosting control panel, does that mean I have a Word Press account and if so where can I fidn my API key?

EG - I want to activate Askimet and it's asking for the API key. It tells me to go to the WP site and create an account. Is that a seperate mandatory step?

Yea go to wordpress.com and can register for and account only and they will send you out your api key - very simple registration so it is
