 RSS Planet / Aggregator suggestion I don't want to hijack Michele's sticky in Forum Feedback [like that Richardo did] so I'm starting a new thread. Having had a look at http://planet.irishwebmasterforum.com/, I have a suggestion to make. Some of the posts are quite long [that Head Rambles bloke for e.g.] and it leads to a lot of scrolling. This puts people at the bottom of the page at a disadvantage. I would suggest limiting posts to [say] ten lines and then, if you want to read the article, click the title. Anyone any opinions on this?         |

| that head rambles guy is a flumpin disastor  richardo, you can limit your RSS feed to only display an opening paragraph. There are RSS plugins for Wordpress which can do that. I had a look at a few last night as i want to control what categories i submit to the feed. There probably is a function in planet that will only display opening paragraphs but I personally like seeing all the content there in front of me. Although I understand what you mean about the scrolling issue with text heavy posts. |

| Ah! I didn't know about feed limiters. I'll have a look. And thanks. You have to be patient with me as I am very new to this game. After all, I only set up my blog less than two weeks ago  [you can wish me a happy two-week birthday tomorrow] |
