Default Twitter URL Behaviour?
Has anyone else noticed that Twitter has stopped auto-shortening URLs?

I never noticed twitter doing it in the first place. I did notice they have added a little dictionary thingy on the RHS and replaced "@Replies" with "@yourname"

It used to automatically parse the longer URLs via tinyurl.com

They're now using the search API for "mentions" ie. any tweet that contains your username should now appear there
