Thread: Strange blog?

I came across a strange blog that is taking an extract from the middle of one of my posts [so it's all out of context] and is then linking back to me.

Has anyone come across this before? Is it some kind of advertising stunt?

They're basically abusing your content

But what's the point? If they ripped the entire post, I could understand.

Maybe they have a thing about well behaved dogs?

It's a splog (Spam Blog). The idea is to mix a load of different scraped content so as to avoid a duplicate content penalty in search engines.

Ah! I had a feeling it was something like that.
