Default joomla query- seo options
I have been forced to use joomla for a project, and have got things running fine - with the exception of the seo options..

I am running on a windows box with apache frontend.
I renamed the htaccess.txt file to .htaccess, and enabled the seo thingy in global config.

now clicking on a menu option results in the following error:
Not Found The requested URL /joomla/content/view/13/31/ was not found on this server.

Am i being an idiot?
any help gladly accepted

Be careful what version of joomla and what seo addon you use, some do not mix well.

I have used sef and joomla 1.15, works mostly but I believe there are issues with virtue mart. Look at the boards over on joomla.com they are excellent for this.

I had same problem, sorry I cannot remember exactly how I fixed it, but it was somehting to do with the htaccess iirc...

try forum.joomla.org - there are quite a few posts on it there.
