Easy manageable online stock gallery
Hi all,
I am looking to design a system for a client who sells furniture, basically what I want to do is design some sort of site which will allow him easily log in and upload pictures of new pieces and there dimensions and price.
Is there a CMS solution(possibly Open source) to this, he does not require a checkout or credit card management system.
I am an IT all rounder and just need pointing in the right direction.

PS I have a feeling Joomla will do what I need am I right? Any expierences of it?

Using Joomla
Joomla with the Adsmanager component should work fine for you.

Easy enough one to ad your own custom fields, simple client front end administration. You'll have to taylor it slightly eg. turn off new registrations
I see this is the setup tradeireland.net is using.
Visually it is a little plain but by all accounts it works well.
I notice its not on tradeireland but it does support lightbox
