| Anyone any experience with both APIs? We are contemplating switching a project from google and looking to find out of it would take much time to do so and if the extra time is worth it. The extra detail on MSN is very attractive. Virtual Earth and Google Maps, side-by-side |

| This review might be of interest. I didn't cover MSN but did cover Google, Yahoo and Map24. Must add in a review of MSN to it. David Behan’s Blog » Blog Archive » Ireland Maps - Alternatives to Google Maps - web design navan, meath, ireland

| Hi David i spotted that. It is what prompted me to look at the alternatives. How did you find the APIs to work with on each map and implement into a site? As you say Google does not have the same coverage of ireland so i am looking to move www.biology.ie over to a more detailed mapping system. However the less development time to change the better as there is not a lot of budget there to be playing with all. |

| Sorry Alan, Have been out at meetings last two days and only getting an extended amount of time to post replies to forum/blog/email messages this evening. This also posted on my blog: I'm currently integrating Yahoo into an application and finding it pretty much the same as Google. No real complications. I'm using the AJAX method and if you have already used Google AJAX API, you should not have a problem with the integration, I don't think. I haven't used the Map24 API but will be looking at doing that next. Rgds, Dave |
