 Designing CSS layouts Is there any way at all of avoiding having to hand code all the css of a page myself? Is there a Windows application that I can use to design the layout, and tweak it through a GUI. Does Quark Express do the job, or even Adobe InDesign? I'm usually used of doing it myself, but doing a project with my brother which will require speed and time, and has to be done as soon as possible really. That and the fact that I hate having to fix bugs in CSS/HTML, etc. I'll have about 8 different page layouts/templates to make in Pure CSS/xHTML. Price matters, but is insignificant in my decision. (I know people in the business  )thanks for the help          |

| CSS Framework might be the way to go ? Gets rid of most of the **** ups you'll generally make. I've not used dreamweaver for design since .. hmm... 2001 maybe ? I know on the mac there are a few that can be recommended but I don't think you've got a mac so.

| Taking a week off school next week to do work while the boss is on holidays so I'll have his mac for the week. But if it's a mac, I'd prefer not to spend money... Last edited by Forbairt; 08-09-2008 at 07:12 PM. Reason: removed mention of the t word |

| Hi nevf I use Dreamweaver. The CS3 version (as opposed to earlier versions of Dreamweaver) is the best for CSS stuff. Jennifer

| Darn Forbairt, leave my posts alone I use Dreamweaver CS3 as it is. It's not really a GUI for CSS, it's the closest I've gotten to it though. perhaps you could suggest this feature next time your talking to the developers - well you do own it after all thanks forb for the link as well, i'll have a looky into it! |
