Default 3 monitors ... one machine anyone ?

Just curious if I'm weird if I want to have 3 monitors attached to the one machine

1 coding screen
1 preview screen
1 documentation screen

I have two at the moment ... and its just not enough :| ... is that wrong of me ?

If people are using 3+ how did ye go about setting them up ?

Some people are just never happy with what they have.

Its doable but I haven't gone through it myself. Run a quick check on Google, I see some sites giving advice on it.

If I had a 3rd monitor I'd probably go for it too, very handy.

I've got two sitting ... doing not a lot ... one is a crappy 14inch lcd though .. so that wouldn't be up to much

At the moment I'm thinking damn it'd be nice ...

two 17inch monitors and the 22 inch dead center .. hmm...

a USB video out could be cool and simple .. hmm. .. they are pricey for what they are though and I wonder if there would be issues ...

I'm sure someone on here has 3 monitors set-up, wouldn't be surprised if someone is sitting with 4 with all us being tech geeks.

HA you could always go for the large flat screens and wall mount them. You'd probably end up watching too many DVD's and get no work done.

bloody hell ... thats nice ... but I don't know if I could handle the distance between the screens ... also for coding not ideal

Hmm... at the moment I've the 22inch directly in front .. and the 17inch .. lined up to the right

at 22inch 1680x1050 and 17inch 1280x1024 ... I don't notice the height difference that much when switching ... another 22inch would be overkill ... it took me enough time to get used to the size when I got it .. and as I've the other 17inch doing nothing (well its hooked up to a linux server but I don't ever really turn on the monitor on it probably once in the last few weeks) god bless VNC and ssh

My brother had sent me on this link a while back
Matrox Graphics - GXM - Products - TripleHead2Go Analog Edition
quite cool as well but I think it was a bit on the pricey side for my liking and seemed more geared at games

That would be cool for gaming.

Have you looked around eBay and see if you can pick something up on the cheap?
