Default Selling domains - advice?

I have a domain that I currently don't use (haven't had time to do anything with it). How would I go about trying to sell it. I had a quick look around sedo.com and it looks fairly easy to register etc.

I've noticed they have an 'earn money while you park' section. What would be your advice/suggestions for trying to sell a domain? Is there much money to be made from parking?

EDIT: Also, what about domain appraisals, are they generally worth it?

Parking can pay well IF the domain has traffic

If it's an obscure vanity domain it probably won't have a lot of traffic, so unless you actually do something with it you are unlikely to earn anything

Well, it's a domain I got with the intention of setting up a viable business with someone else but we both are too busy so it's just been sitting with a contact form on the index.htm page. I haven't checked it but I'm pretty sure there's no traffic.

In terms of the domain itself, it's not obscure, in fact it's quite a good one with a lot of potential I'd say. Although I have no experience with domains so I can't be sure.

I guess the best option would be to place it on sedo and see if there are any offers.

How accurate are domain appraisals? Any online services that come recommended? I have a couple domains that I wouldn't mind getting valued.

I'm in two minds about them

If you can wait until I get back from LA hopefully I'll be better informed
