Just go enom.com register platform "9 3/4" where you can register a .adulu domain.

.net
.eu
.mobi (still better than m.domain.com/mobile.domain.com)
.ie (for local use)

I think .co.uk is too long an extension... Anyone looking at .asia at the moment?

If I'm looking for a domain I'll go .com first ...

.eu hasn't really taken hold in my mind ...

Am I special in that regard that I just go for the .coms ? ...

com is the 1st and obvious choice
I will look at eu and I like especially if your site is selling something to the only the european market

I also like de and am trying to buy some know
I think its the most popular after .com or at least the most popular country domain
at around 9 million registered

.de is no longer the most popular ccTLD. .cn is now the most popular ccTLD
