Thread: Site for sale ... if the price is right

I was considering selling my website The SSI-Developer, www.ssi-developer.net I received an offer last week but it was a quarter of what I'd like for the site, I am probably over pricing it anyway.

Some info:
Site is web design/development related
is a Page Rank 7 (last time i checked).
Since mid-2006 the site has earned approx $3000-3500 from the various ad campaigns (with very little effort and no maintenance)
Gets 30k-35k unique visitors per month (potential to easily double that)

Google Analytics stats for July 2007:
34,749 Visits
31,288 Absolute Unique Visitors
58,413 Pageviews
87.69% % New Visits

Search Engines 27,421 (77.69%)
Referring Sites 3,971 (11.25%)
Direct Traffic 3,900 (11.05%)
Other 4 (0.01%)

Any rough idea of what it could be worth?

What are you selling?
The domain?
The content?
Both?

Sorry, both ... excluding 3rd party scripts etc. The .net/.com and approx 75 pages of content on the main site.

With a PR7 you should consider to sell some text links. Could fetch you some nice money.

I've signed up with textlinkads, sold only 1 link so far (positioning may not be the best)

use sitepoint forums. Loads of people running around to buy links. I sold yearly PR6 links for $100 a pop. A PR7 could probably fetch anywhere between $200 and $500 per year.
