Default Purchasing an existing .ie - who to contact

There is a .ie I am interested in acquiring, which is already registered. It doesn't have a website configured on it, but it may be used for email - I'm not sure. Who should I contact to ask the owner if they would sell? should I contact their host, and ask them to forward my request, anyone any experience in this? Thanks

You have to be very careful with this kind of thing ...

I'd recommend you contact the owner directly.

Don't forget that you will need to qualify for the domain in order to be able to re-register it

Michele

Hi Effect, before you contact them make sure that you can qualify to get the name first.

To contact the details of the owner please go to Whois Lookup: Irish domain names registration details type the domain name in and that will give you the details.

If you have any other questions please dont hesitate to ask.

Regards
Trent

Err you won't

You'll get very basic details which may or may not be enough to identify the person or business in question

cheers for the help. I beleive the same owner has a registered business name which I looked up, I'll try sending a letter in the hope that it's inactive. Thanks for the replies.
