Default Dropped IE domains

Just checking links in the search.ie and armchair.ie database and found a few that had been dropped:

autosport.ie
iriver.ie
bubble.ie
carlowentertainment.ie

I'll post more as I find them ...

Google appears to have copped on to the dropped .ie domains. Used to be that you could snap them up and set them running again (or other nefarious tactics ).

They seem to have caught wind to that of late however

I haven't been trying ...
Though I was pleasantly surprised by the rank a couple of me recent acquisitions gained quickly ...

The main interest I've had in the deleted / dropped domains is good, easy to remember names. With so few IE domains registered you can still get a "sane" domain name. If it has inbound links, traffic, PR etc., it's a bonus, but if it doesn't I'm not going to lose any sleep
