Default NameCheap --> GoDaddy , transfer how long

hi *,
Yesterday I initialised some transfers (for a cheaper renewal fee) between my NameCheap and GoDaddy accounts. I got the transaction and autorization code and the subsequent EPP codes, and entered them yesterday.

How long does it normally take ?

Before I had transferred domains in the other direction and it worked almost instantly.

Danke,
Paul.

14 days ! wow. One of my domains expires in 14 days so I am a bit worried about that one now.

FYI : namecheap doc : Namecheap.com - Domain Transfer Process
godaddy doc : Transferring Domains To Your Account - Help Center—Knowledge Base and FAQ

the current status says "If you have already accepted the transfer with the current registrar, the current registrar has up to 5 days to release the transfer of the domain name". The thing is since I entered the EPP on the godaddy side, I didn't get any emails from namecheap for the domains.

btw. I am impressed that this is in google cache already

Transfers between registrars vary a LOT

Some can get done within 1 or 2 working days, but a lot of them take up to 10 working days.

If the EPP codes and emails are correct there should be no reason for a delay
