To 2 or not to 2?

Been mulling over a name for a new website and was checking out the availability of some names that we came up with.

All the versions with a "to" in the name are either in use or parked but the versions with the "2" instead of the "to" are almost all available...

What do people generally think of replacing words with numbers in URLs, does it matter to the enduser? do they care as long as the site gives them what they want?

Would there be any positive or negative SEO effects?

in terms of seo .. can you really rank well for the word to ? tobeornottobe ? ... hmmm....

I wouldn't really see it as being a keyword though I might be wrong ?

Biggest problem with using 'to' or '2' or 'b' is that you will need to spell the domain to someone if you are telling them about your site in person or over the phone.

Domains should be memorable and easy to spell. Avoid using numbers like the plague if possible, if not, then just avoid them.

If you can get all versions ie. "to" and "2" and "two" you'd be in the perfect situation.

Being "clever" with domain names doesn't always work
