Default Register domain for 10 years

    Hi guys,
Is it wise to register the domain for 10 years rather than every year/ I have read that it does make a difference though my main competitors have theirs registered for only 1 year...

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

If it's a totally new name it can help, it's all about telling the search engines that you have a site that can be trusted. If the site is already 5 years old, it's effect will probably be minimal.

Apart from the SEO side of things.. it makes life that bit easier if you don't have to worry about renewals for a few years

Plus the prices are going to rise on .com in the next couple of months
