Thread: Have you developed your dotmobi?

Just wondering if anyone has done anything cool or interesting with dotmobi domains or are you just pointing them at your main site?

I'm going to make the domain history thing searchable via its own .mobi - but at the moment I haven't developed any of my .mobi doms.

How many do you have?

Six at least. Maybe eight. Some of them are brand protection regs.

Biz Plan for a project with the brother currently in the works, and .mobi, I hope to have. Could be very good at attracting users to the site, while still providing a good service.

Without throwing away too many details, the site will be for students to use, and some may want to use it at school, so if they had an iPod Touch, PDA, N95, etc. they will be able to have basic access to there stuff while at school.

thats why a .mobi will come in handy for our particular project. They're a decent price as well which is good.

As for developing for actual mobile phones, well there's no immediate plans yet really.

So you're targetting mobile devices?

Not really, we're not going for the €2 subscription service, or the free ringtones, or any of that business.

We're deviating slightly from the purpose of the TLD, and it will really be a lightweight portal for the website. Much like the way m.boards.ie is, and it's purpose.
