Actually, I wasn't expecting an auction so I'm not prepared. Was hoping for a bit of guidance on it but appreciate that's like asking how long's a piece of string.

So given that I'm still clueless as to it's actual worth I'll take a stab at what I need/want instead.

Not worth it to me to sell it for less than €5k (have another small biz that can use it). Would sell for €10k. Still don't know if that is realistic or not. Depends on what you'd do with the site I suppose.

Although I agree 10K is quite steep he could probably get 4 figures based on the age of the domain. I have seen some crazy prices for domains that were 10+ years

Last week I paid 4k for a 10 year old TWO WORD domain.

I got themenace.com about 6 years ago as it was available at the time. For many years before though, it was an incredibly popular porn site (tranny love if I'm not mistaken)

I wonder what she's (he's?) worth now!

Not sure if the tranny thing will hurt it (thats a whole different site) but anyone worth anything will check archive.org and that might cut into the price

5+ domains do ok but a 10+ is definately a much bigger bonus
