It's funny though, the ones that sell are often the ones you least expect.
theofficegroup.com went for 3 figure sum ($) last year... cost me 30$ on club drop!

i did have them listed on afternic. i don't know if thats where they were found though. the offers came through the hosted domain enquiry page.
i bought one of them 10,000 page webpages, uno - earn a fortune from google ads for $10 and I stuck them up there as aliases. Maybe I even got the original costs back via google ( not millions though!)
i only found afternic useful when i got wierd enquiries about price, i could refer people to afternic ( and never heard from them again).
It was just a pasttime realy, i had a script that searched the enom drop list for existing domains of type .ie or .co.uk , where the .com was dropping. I havn't used it since enom put up the minimum bid for drops (i think it's $60 now or something).
I had a few bods with the .ie who had obviously let the .com expire, they got snapped up pretty quick again. I enjoyed it and made a couple of quid so no harm done.
maybe I'll get back into it sometime.
