my host didnt have an IPF record setup and since i was having problems sending a mailer out with hotmail sending it to the junk folder i got it setup but it made no difference.
i think it helps with mail but its not the final answer.
although hotmail must have the nastiest filters
Hotmail and some of the other webmail providers have been forced to really clamp down.
A lot would depend on the type of mail you were sending, so without knowing what you were doing it would be quite hard to advise you
just doing this now..
still getting my head around how it works...
whats stopping someone sending the email from an account with mail.mydomain.com as their smtp server?
not following... maybe i stated my case wrong....
can i restrict the ability to use mail.mydomain.com as an smtp server to a specific ip
i've got the control panels for it open so I can change any settings i need to
so if someone can recommend good practice settings
