€35,000 – €44,000 DOE

With manufacturing and development facilities in Ireland, the Czech Republic and the USA, our client is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of technical plastic components and assemblies. An opportunity has now arisen for a Maintenance Electrician / Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

As a Maintenance Electrician / Electrical Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining all production machinery, such as moulding machines and special purpose equipment, ensuring they are available for production processes.

Your duties will also include:

- Diagnosing faults and maintaining electronic, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic control systems – Carrying out electrical and mechanical installations – Writing and installing PLC programmes for moulding machines – Carrying out risk assessments on machinery and ensuring safe working practices are followed

To be considered for this position, you must have:

- Significant experience as a Maintenance Electrician or similar, within an industrial environment such as manufacturing or production – An Electrical Trade Certificate or anything equivalent to a Trade Craft Certificate such as a time-served or experience as an apprenticeship-trained electrician

As a Maintenance Electrician / Electrical Maintenance Engineer you must have excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills. The ability to work within a team is also key.
