Our client is an award winning provider of network performance testing and multiservice monitoring systems. An opportunity has now arisen for a Java Software Engineer / Developer to join their team.

This is the ideal role for a talented Java developer, with Java Swing, NetBeans, ANT and Subversion experience, looking to gain exposure to cutting-edge telecoms technologies.

As a Java Software Engineer / Developer you will be responsible for further developing our client’s award winning product, an application used to assess and monitor network, application and security infrastructure performance.

In this role, you will participate in the design and development of our client’s Java based application. Working as part of the engineering team, you also liaise with the QA team, ensuring all applications meet our client’s high standards.

To be considered for this position, you must have:

- Excellent Java development skills – Experience of developing Java Swing based applications – Knowledge of design patterns – Experience with development tools such as NetBeans, ANT and Subversion

As a Java Software Engineer / Developer you must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong problems solving skills are also key.

Although not essential, Knowledge of MVC would be beneficial to your application. A degree (or equivalent) in a technical discipline would also be advantageous.
