Our client is an award winning provider of network performance testing and multiservice monitoring systems. An opportunity has now arisen for a Java Software Engineer / Java Developer to join their team.

This is the ideal role for a talented Java developer looking to gain exposure to cutting-edge telecoms technologies.

As a Java Software Engineer / Java Developer you will be responsible for further developing our client’s award winning product, an application used to assess and monitor network, application and security infrastructure performance.

In this role, you will participate in the design and development of our client’s Java based application. Working as part of the engineering team, you also liaise with the QA team, ensuring all applications meet our client’s high standards.

To be considered for this position, you must have:

- Excellent Java development skills – Fluent English communication skills (both written and verbal) – A degree-level (or equivalent) education

Although not essential, experience of implementing Java Swing based UI applications would be beneficial to your application, as would knowledge of Netbeans, ANT, Subversion and design patterns such as MVC.
