As a leading company, our client provides wireless and embedded technologies, mainly in the machine-to-machine space, to local and multi-national industries. An opportunity has now arisen for an Online Content Manager / Web Content Editor to join their team.

This role would suit a determined individual with experience of writing, editing and managing online content, looking for a rewarding challenge and the freedom to grow to their full potential.

As an Online Content Manager / Web Content Editor, you will be responsible for increasing sales by developing the company’s websites. This will include keeping the content fresh and engaging with the wider technology community, with a view to them using the company’s solutions as a platform to build and enhance their products.

Working with content owners, you will ensure all content is compelling and appealing to target audiences. You will also be required to conduct regular content analysis with relevant stakeholders to determine audience needs, content needs and current content accuracy and relevancy. Creating content plans for websites and editing content with SEO in mind will also be intrinsic to your role.

To be considered for the role of Online Content Manager / Web Content Editor, you must have:

- Significant commercial experience of writing, editing and managing online content, including exceptional copywriting skills – Experience of using content management systems – A degree (or equivalent) – A genuine interest in, and a solid understanding of Web 2.0 and wireless technologies

Additionally, you must possess excellent communication, organisation and planning skills. The ability to work independently and as a team in a fast paced environment is also key.
