Our client is a ‘portable micro-store’ which companies can use on their own site, their blog or any social media sites, to help customers buy from them quickly and easily. An opportunity has now arisen for a Social Media Telesales / Sales Executive to join their team.

This role would suit a sales professional with knowledge of social media looking to work in a fast paced environment. For the right applicant, there is the opportunity to develop into a team leader/management role within 6-9 months.

As a Social Media Telesales / Sales Executive, you will be responsible for selling our client’s services to sports, music and film companies who use social media to gain brand exposure. You will also be responsible for developing new business with large companies who haven’t yet explored social media as a marketing tool.

You will be tasked with:

- Pipeline management and planning for clients – Estimating the potential throughput of target clients – Monitoring trends in social media tools – Working with the PR team to develop overall communications strategies – Creating a social media strategy to define programmes that use social media marketing techniques

To be considered for the role of Social Media Telesales / Sales Executive, you must have:

- Sales and business development experience – A strong understanding of, and experience with social media and its associated marketing tools and techniques

Additionally, you must be persuasive and creative with the ability to contribute individually, and lead, manage or participate in cross-functional teams. You must also enjoy engaging in conversations, both online and offline, and be able to create great working relationships with all levels within the company.

Our client has a preference for applicants with active engagement in social media, including a Linkedin profile, Twitter account, Facebook profile, and preferably, their own blog.
