An opportunity has arisen for a Quality Engineering Manager to join our client, an established and successful manufacturing company based in Co Meath.

For this role, our client is looking for a results driven quality engineer with experience of continuous improvement and a strong understanding of ISO 13485:2003.

As a Quality Engineering Manager you will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing process by ensuring high quality standards are maintained.

You will be tasked with effectively solving problems to resolve product quality issues in addition to monitoring the performance of equipment, machines and tools. You will also negotiate acceptable quality levels with customers.

Your other duties will include:

- Leading the correction of equipment problems or process parameters that produce quality issues – process and equipment validation – managing the internal audit programme – leading all third party audits

To be considered for this position, you must have:

- Significant experience in quality engineering – A working knowledge of ISO 13485:2003 (medical devices quality standard) – Continuous improvement and process improvement experience – An engineering degree (or equivalent)

As a Quality Engineering Manager you must possess excellent analytical and decision making skills. You must also have the ability to create and sustain positive relationships with customers and colleagues.

Although not essential, wider engineering experience, such as manufacturing engineering, production engineering, project engineering or design engineering would be advantageous to your application.
