My Midlands based client has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Supervisor:

The Supply Chain Supervisor is responsible for the effective leadership and management of the Warehouse, Shipping and Sterilization

The Supply Chain Supervisor will carry out the following duties:

Day to day management of all aspects of Warehousing from goods inwards, through storage and issue of raw materials, WIP and productive supplies
Management of all aspects of Shipping function.
Management of all aspects of Sterilization function, including:
Working closely with QA Laboratory and Planning
Working closely with Engineering Department in relation to maintenance and ongoing improvements within the sterilization area
Working closely with Plant Microbiologist on cycle optimization, validations and other relevant projects
Day to day management of the Supply Chain team
Work closely with Finance Department to ensure cycle-counting/stock-taking processes are carried out
Manage company fleet of materials handling equipment
Identify continuous improvements opportunities and lead and implement Operational Excellence and improvement projects

QUALIFICATIONS Candidates should be educated to 3rd level, preferable in a technical/engineering discipline. APICS certification is desirable.

Ideally candidates will have:
Minimum of 5 years previous experience in a similar leadership position.
Proven experience in the requirements of a medical device regulated manufacturer or experience of an industry with similar demands.
Experience of Operational Excellence and/or Six Sigma techniques is advantageous.
Leadership, motivational and team working skills.
Quality Awareness and a proven track record of excellent quality standards
