Junior Web Developer Required

We’ve a great opportunity for someone looking to get a foothold in the web industry and join one of the largest and longest established web agencies in Ireland.

About the role

The successful candidate will be working closely with the design and development teams. You will be working in a small team environment conducive to learning and improving your skills.

Day to day tasks will include

Design conversion and website building with XHTML and CSS, with particular attention to standards compliance and cross browser compatibility
Populating content provided by clients.
Training clients on our ecommerce application
Working with clients and further improvements and innovations to their websites.

Essential Skills Required:

strong XHTML/CSS
basic PHP with MySQL
basic javascript/jQuery
experience with Photoshop
excellent customer facing skills
fluent English, written and spoken

Would be Advantageous:

experience of hosting platforms Hsphere and Plesk
experience with phpmyadmin
experience with CVS/version control
working knowledge of SEO best practice
working knowledge of DNS
Salary

Depending on experience (negotiable)
