iCabbi is an Irish based software development company. We design and develop cloud based taxi dispatch systems that integrate with smartphones and website booking engines. We are launching a major international expansion drive in the coming months and need a team of skilled developers to support and enhance our product range as we expand.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join us at an early stage. We are looking to build a team of developers that are as passionate about the business as we are (this is very important to us!) and in addition to your pay, you will be enrolled in our employee share scheme which sets aside a significant percentage of the business for you.
Ideally you would have experience in some of the following: MVC coding, PHP 5, MySql 5, UIX (HTML5, CSS, JS/jQuery etc), nginx/Apache 2 and basic linux administration. Experience with SVN/Github, Amazon AWS, Kohana, Memcache would be a huge plus.
If you have experience with Java, Android, IOS, Networking (HTTP Protocol, TCP/IP, DNS configuration etc) we’d also love to hear from you.
Your role (dependent on your skills) will include:
Continuous development of our core dispatch system to enhance and improve the efficiency of existing components and to design and develop new features
Design and develop simple and intuitive Web UI components that provide a high degree of utility
Support and enhancements to our architecture on Amazon AWS (Nginx, MySql, Amazon ELB/EC2/SNS/RDS, DNS)
Data Modeling, databases, data structures and memory based storage
Android App Development
IOS App Development
Pay is highly dependant on your experience and ranges from 30k to 75k. We offer a relaxed and flexible working environment. Our offices are based in Howth, Dublin. We encourage flexi-time and if you need to take the laptop home to work on a specific component no problem!
