Why the rel=nofollow attribute in sigs?

Just wondering why you enabled rel=nofollow on all the signatures in the forum.

While I realise that they are a privilege and not a right, they are a great way to keep people coming back (Including me). Especially due to the nature of the forum. Members getting SOMETHING back is essential for a forum to take off IMHO and in my experience.

It's a conditional setup. If you have less than X posts you get nofollow all the time. Once you are over X your first post per page is "follow"

Look at the entire page's source and you'll see exactly which ones have no follow and which ones don't

The board uses a number of plugins to maximise it's seo which includes some tasty workarounds for the normally excessive number of links on fora:
