Latest Threads Tweek?

Hi,
Is there any possibility that more characters for the thread titles can be displayed within the Latest Threads widget? I think it only shows the first 20 or so characters, which isn't a great indicator of the thread topic to be honest. There is a lot of space to the right of the widget which isn't being used.

I've increased it to about 50 characters or so, which should be more than enough for most threads
