| Does anyone else use this? I installed it over one a forum I have, logged in and posted a dubious message with lots of profanities to test it out. The thread was published with no objections from Askimet.

| Askimet on vbulletin is terrible. I had it running for a while and I shouldn't have bothered installing it. The best anti-spam protection I installed on my forum is this challenge response capatcha. It drastically reduced spam sign-ups from about a dozen a day to approx 1 a month. Enhanced Captcha Image Verification - stop bots from signing up!! - vBulletin.org Forum |

| A text based captcha works well and the RBL checker is excellent

| I have the Captcha question plugin installed and it works beautifully. Will look into the RBL. But whats the best defence against thread spam as opposed to spam sign ups assuming the Askimet plugin performs poorly on VBulletin?
