Just wondering if any other Ubuntu users have been having issues with Firefox lately.

I keep finding that it eats memory and gets really sluggish before becoming completely unresponsive

Do you use Firefox on Ubuntu ? How is the font display ? I have a Fedora C3 test installation, but when i browse web sites on it with Firefox or any other browser, the fonts are not good as in Windows. A quick search say i need to install fonts, but can't get it fixed.

You probably need to install the windows fonts.. You can get them for Debian / Ubuntu, so I presume you can get the equivalent for Fedora Core

Ok, i will try to get Windows Font, i don't get much time to google for it. Once the font is installed, will it look similar to Windows or different ?

It's just a set of fonts. If someone is using Verdana or one of the other Windows fonts then you will be able to see them properly
