Depends on which languages you're going to use..
I wouldn't imagine Italian would be used too much. Polish, Chinese and Russian would probably be the three big winners.

I don't know about chinese, i can not find a translator.

Actually is done manually, for every word in every language I am going to use.
I wouldn't use an automated system, cause:
1. it might slow-down the website
2. i only want certain words translated, like description
3. I don't like depending on other things that you can not control.

I used babelfish to get few words translated, and some other websites.

An example from your site. Response from Google:
