I would love to see something like that.

Thanks for posting the photos. I just need to figure out who is who, Dave Davis looks to have had a good time haha and I recognise Louie & Cormac.

Who is the bloke hiding under the table?

Hello Webmasters, I am really glad to have been in Harbour Master. I feel I learned an awfully lot just talking to you and, especially, I liked your honest approach to SEO and doing business in general. Things like 'I work just with clients who trust me', 'I don't take on low-value jobs' etc.

I think Irish web master community has a great potential, so please, let's keep in touch and meet more regularly...

Agreed. Was a good night and was fantastic to put a face to the names. Simona, it was an absolute pleasure meeting you. I am sure our paths will cross in the very near future

To everyone else, thanks again for taking the time to speak with me. Hopefully now that we all know each other a little better we can meet up more regularly.

Thanks Michele for the drinks too!

Default BNI - Business Network International

And, just realised that some of you might be interested...

There is that networking organisation BNI and I am in BNI Trinity Chapter Dublin Ireland - Home chapter, we meet every Thursday at 6.45am, the meeting finishes at 8.30am and you can visit us twice for free - you get free breakfast

Well, just wanted to mention that the web guy has left our chapter as he had to move away from Dublin, so there is a vacancy for somebody in webdesign, SEO etc. - as just one company per business category can be in the group.

So if you are interested, you can come this Thursday to see what it's all about and you can then decide whether that would be the kind of networking you are looking for. It's all about referrals and the notion is "Givers gain" so if you give referrals to other businesses, they will give them to you as well.

You can contact me 086 233 4565.

Sounds quite cool ... sounds quite early and unfortunately sounds quite far away as well.

I should add if any of ye are down in galway and fancy a mini tour of the city (town) ... meet up / beer / coffee .. just give me a shout.

We were members in Carlow. It was a total waste of time, as most of the businesses were only interested in tiny online deals. It was great for the solicitor, accountant, engineer and architect - they picked up plenty of high value contracts

I guess as a hosting company ... you wouldn't really make money from them. How many of them would require a dedicated server ? mostly they'd approach a web designer / developer .. so I'd guess it could still be quite useful for them ?

Most of the small businesses only wanted email, so even a web designer wasn't going to make any proper money from them
