Default Development Methodologies: SSADM, DSDM or other?

Hi all,

I am working on an assignment regarding development methodologies. I was wondering out of interest:

1. how many practitioners here use a dev methodology for web development?
2. does anyone actually use SSADM?
3. if you use something else, what is it?

If you're interested in sharing, I'd be interested to hear.

cheers,
Geoff.

We do. Use the typical waterfall lifecycle on large projects i.e. multi-year, large teams, large deliverables, large cost, requirements well known and relatively stable.

On our front-end deliveries we go for the Agile methodology, sometime XP, best used for smaller projects and really good when hard to tie down requirements
