Default Digiweb double broadband speeds...

Got an email from Digiweb today saying they have doubled my 3MB broadband speed to 6MB. I tested it over at Irish ISP speed test - check your broadband provider's speed and it's working as they said. They still have a small lag on getting to websites initially but once connected, speeds are great.

On a side note... I've a new 3MB line coming in from Imagine this week. I'll have to get myself some software/hardware to combine the two.
Any suggestions are most welcome.

Dave

I think Digiweb came under quite a bit of criticism about this, as they originally told people they wouldn't be upgrading the lines ..

I probably wouldn't have ordered another line if I'd known but having the 2 now wil be fine and not too expensive either.

Clarkconnect has a multiwan feature that will loadbalance two or more (runs on centos), you would probably be better off with a hardware solution though.

It's wireless, no lines. I don't remember Digiweb telling customers speeds would not be upgraded...

Clarkconnect or smoothwall are good choices, although you may need a bit of previous experience to either both correctly.
