Thanks for taking the time to do that. Interesting read but a bit disappointing to see that IE6 still has a large amount of users.

Arn't we all? Its non-standards compliant ways frustrate all Web Developers I'm sure.

I noticed you wanted to know Operating Systems also. I can get this data, however I didn't know how relevant it really was?

Disappointing but not unsurprising given the demographic of the sites. Think about it. Most people who are in to modded cars are young men/teens(at least where I live anyway) i can't see them going to any trouble downloading and installing a browser. Their going to use whatever is there and that they're used to. Granted there are always exceptions to the rule but the results for that particular site confirm it.

I'm surprised that firefox has such a large chunk in many of these sites!

One reason IE 6 is still has a reasonable sized user base is that most large corporate firms have not upgraded to IE7. Going by my own firm IE6 is the only recommended browser and will not be upgrading to IE7 anytime soon.

IE7 and Firefox you can get if you really really really need them and are willing to fill in many different approval forms and put up with the hassle from Ops
