Default Irish Web Users

Anyone know any statistics for what browsers Internet users in Ireland use and also what OS's they use?

Default Couldn't say but...

I couldn't say myself, however the company I work for has several rather large websites that are probably listed as one of the largest in Ireland in terms of traffic.

If you like I can use our analytics tool to give me a run down on browsers and versions?

It would be interesting to see some stats. What kind of demographic are your company's visitors?

Default Demographic Difficult to say exactly

Well we run several sites that appeal to a range of demographics.

I'd like to put together a post on it and give some detailed graphs on my blog. So give me a couple of days to put my finding together. I will try and compare the different sites and their spread of users / systems etc..

We use a program called Nedstat - Website analytics which unfortunately doesn't produce nice looking graphs. So I might do some photoshop magic and make them look nice and easier to understand.

If we were using Google Analytics it would have been easier, since that produces the nice graphs we all love.

It should be a good arguement for Web Standards in Ireland!

Thumbs up Sorry about the delay

Sorry for the delay on this. I was working on this tonight, but its getting late. Will hopefully have it finished over the next few days.

Unfortunately the stats program doesn't provide nice graphs, so I will try put something together that's a bit more graphical.

Cheers,

Default Finally done.

I finally got around to putting the article together. Excuse the Excel graphs but they are better than what the stats program puts out . If only we used Google Analytics *Sigh*. Anyway, as promised here it is.

Nicely put together Gavin, thanks for taking the time!

I was a bit surprised that IE still had such a huge percentage of the market, an average of 80%.

Cheers,
Kyle

Still 3% using 800x600, doesn't look like this will ever change, anytime soon at least. Perhaps people with bad eyesight will always choose this resolution, even with new systems or is it decreasing slowly?
