| I think the earlier seasons had at least some merit and were quite interesting ... I never felt the urge to get home and turn it on .. oh god oh god whats happening in it These days its all very VERY commercial ... who will sleep with who first .. and so on (not that it wasn't always like that) |

| Yes, the first season was interesting just because it was the first. But the Diary Room and particularly the nominating is much more interesting now - the early days they were far too falsely polite. I think it's because I've always been pretty much an outsider that I find the whole concept rather interesting - it allows me to catch of glimpse of what might have been going on behind my back. |

| Don't think I got into the hype behind the first season ... Friends were racing home to see what happened at the time . and it was all they were talking about at work. ... I really found it quite sad (pats his sci-fi dvd collection) |
